New Year 2017-Goals for this blog

Hey there! I have not posted for quite a bit of time. It seems I get a good amount of readers because of the one (German) article about circumventing LaterPay. This is funny to me, because I always wondered why there were no articles or code snippets about that, and it seems that a lot of people wonder the same.

One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to write at least 2 blog posts a month. I have been very busy over the Christmas days, writing a tiny Starcraft 2 simulator in C++11, given a ridiculous short period of time. Such a useless task with no learning effect (except the time pressure)…

Now some statistics! In 2016 this blog had over 5.700 visitors! That is an amazing amount for only 10 blog posts. Also, apparently, those visitors stayed on the page for an average time span of 76 seconds.

It is also interesting to look at the browser distribution:

Seems like Chrome is winning the browser race, for now. Also, Microsoft Edge adoption has started (or maybe those are the users who have not installed Chrome yet).

I am happy that I am still around, and the numbers give me a lot of motivation, so thanks to you, dear reader. Let us hope for a productive and informative 2017 on this blog.

Feel free to comment on this blog post, to let me know what you think about this blog and what can be improved!

P.S. Does this count as a blog post? I hope so! This resolution is going to be really challenging…
